Woke up the other day to find the water line connected to my toilet shooting water out around 9am. My roommates left for class around 7am. We suspect it had to of been shooting water for 2 hours straight.

All of our rooms plus half the living room’s floor was soaked! Blowers and humidifiers have to stay on for two days while they have given us hotel rooms to stay in.

The moral of this story is to check your toilet lines before going to bed! Thank God for renter’s insurance. All my new Ikea $800 furniture is waterlogged about 1-2 inches up and is hopefully covered.

[update] I hate deductibles!  No new furniture.  :(  Apartment is back to normal though.
